Introduction to the Company

With over half a century of experience in ports and maritime service provision, Tidewater Middle East Holding is considered one of the largest and most prominent Iranian companies active in the field. Tidewater Middle East, along with its subsidiaries, provides a wide range of activities, including ports, maritime, dredging, salvaging, technical and engineering, as well as Information Technology services; constructing and managing dry ports, as well as commissioning private port terminals.The port services provided by Tidewater Co. are focused on container services, general and miscellaneous cargoes, bulk cargoes, as well as liquids and tanks. In commercial maritime services, Tidewater Middle East specializes in activities such as vessel assisting and towing, shipping agency services, operating and maintaining watercraft and marine navigation lights, marine firefighting, as well as search and rescue operations. In dredging, Tidewater Middle East Company in addition to performing port and waterway dredging projects in the north and south of Iran, the Company has ventured beyond the borders of Iran, and by participating in international tenders, it has added successful performance of dredging projects on Karachi and Bin Qasem ports in Pakistan to its accomplishments. In the private port terminals sector, the Company is focused on constructing and commissioning port terminals, as well as provision of services such as container depots services for Full Container Load (FCL) containers and empty containers, reefers, and dangerous goods containers, as well as performing stripping, stuffing, and storing of all types of cargo in roofed and open storage facilities within said terminals. Tidewater Middle East Holding has also had significant activities in Information Technology. Developing specialized software for maritime and ports services, as well as cargo and container transportation, such as TCTS and GCOMS, and providing the value-added service of SMS are among the activities performed by the Company in this field. In removal of sunken vessel, Tidewater has the great accomplishment of having performed large-scale projects, such as the removal of sunken vessel in Khor Musa Firth. Furthermore, considering Iran’s ever-increasing need for dry ports and container terminals, Tidewater Middle East has entered this field professionally since the latter half of 1380s (2000s) and has successfully commissioned terminals such as Aprin container terminal . Moreover, provision of multimodal transportation (rail-road) services, and service provision to shipping lines, shipping companies, foreign freight forwarders, and cargo owners are among activities performed by Tidewater in the logistics services branch.
