In the new era in the activities of Tidewater Middle East, we have adopted transparency as one of the main strict principles in our major policies, and believe that increasing transparency in all work processes will be a determining factor in the process of maximizing the interests of the stakeholders of this business. Concurrently, in order to improve the business environment and decrease the risks that are present before this Company, and considering the problems arising out of focusing on only port operations, we have put diversification of supply chain activities, especially in the field of marine service provision, on agenda. After having held managerial positions in different industries for over three decades, I am proud that in this new chapter for the activities of Tidewater Middle East, I have, alongside my experienced colleagues, been put in charge of the execution of the process of fundamental changes in this well-established company. With the transfer of the ownership of the Company to the private sector in the beginning of its sixth decade of activity, the need for fundamental changes is felt more than ever before, and as such, restructuring, process revisions and diversification of the activities of the Company have been put among pressing agenda items. Furthermore, in order to further improve Tidewater Middle East’s standing, we have introduced new horizons to the activities of the Company. Fostering agility in the business environment, improving the environment for professional ethics and increasing the quality level in the human capital of the Group are among such attempts. Moreover, expansion of activities within the new ports, as well as improving the equipment and facilities in the fields of operation are among other areas in which the landscape of the Company’s future activity will be thoroughly considered. Hopefully, with God’s support and mercy, through the aid of the learned workforce of Tidewater Middle East Co., and by relying on the valuable experiences the Company has accumulated during its activity for over five decades, the objectives and visions that have been projected will be successfully actualized with the utmost degree of productivity, ushering in a new memorable era in the history of the Company.
